Singles: are valid for the day of issue and for one journey only

Returns: For one calendar month after the date of issue

Family Returns: Valid for 2 Adults and up to four Children for one calendar month after the day of issue.

Day Rover Tickets: Valid for unlimited travel on the Railway for the day of issue

Week Rovers and two day rover are valid for unlimited travel on the number of consectutive days specified on the ticket.

Discounts and Concessions

British Railways Staff (Adults, Retired and Children) travel at half price on production of their Privilege Cards/Association of Train Operators Privilege Cards at the booking office or to the Ticket Inspector

Local Residents travel at half price on production of their Starcards (Application available from Minehead Station or download from here) at the booking office or to the ticket Inspector

If you can show you have a disability, you may travel at half the adult or child fare. A carer with you may also travel at half fare. For more information on fares from stations please see our fares pages

West Somerset Railway Association members having used their one day of free travel then travel at half price on production of their cards at the booking office or to the Ticket Inspector

TESCO Clubcard Tokens For Tickets

The West Somerset Railway is now accepting TESCO Clubcard Deals Tokens in payment for Tickets which can be obtained from our Booking Offices and Ticket Inspectors on the Train. The tokens can be exchanged for tickets on normal service trains but not during special events or on special trains and tokens cannot be used in food outlets or shops.
