Heritage Railway Association   The Heritage Railway Association has links to all other Heritage Railways in the UK as well as a database of preserved locomotives
Avon Valley Railway   Bristol's Local heritage line with train trips along a section of the London Midland and Scottish Railway route to Bath where it joined the famous Somerset and Dorset Railway
Lynton and Barnstaple Railway   The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway has an excellent website and is our neighbouring Heritage line
Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway   No family trip to the picturesque towns of Lynton and Lynmouth would be complete without a trip on the world famous Cliff Railway - It’s the best and most exciting way to travel between these two historic towns. It will be one of the highlights of the day - for Mums, Dads and the kids! Enjoy stunning views of the North Devon Coastline as you glide up and down the 862 foot length of track; from Lynmouth nestling at the foot of the cliffs to Lynton perched 500 feet above. 
South Devon Railway  
The South Devon Railway running from Totnes to Buckfastleigh in the heart of beautiful Devon. The Butterfly and Otter Farm at Buckfastleigh and the Rare Breeds centre at Totnes makes for a great day out
Severn Valley Railway  
One of Britain's top heritage railway's with a typical Great Western Atmosphere. Runs from Kidderminister in Worcestershire to Bridgenorth in Shropshire
East Somerset Railway  
The little Railway on the other side of the county with its excellent tea rooms and picture gallery at Cranmore station near Shepton Mallet
Devon Railway Centre  

The Devon Railway centre, built in the old station grounds at Bickleigh with several short narrow gauge railways and a model railway exhibition

Didcot Railway Centre   The Didcot Railway Centre is the base of the Great Western Society and is home of one of the biggest collection of Great Western Railway Locomotives, Coaches and Wagons
Mid-Hants Railway   The Mid Hants Railway near Winchester and runs from Alresford to Alton and is a mecca for Southern Railway enthusiasts
Swanage Railway  
The Swanage Railway is on Isle of Purbeck and operates a park and ride service from Norden (near Wareham) to Swanage
Bodmin and Wenford Railway  
The Bodmin and Wenford Railway, Cornwalls only Standard gauge Heritage Railway in operation runs from the mainline Railway station at Bodmin Parkway to Bodmin General station in the centre of the town
Dartmoor Railway  
The Dartmoor Railway based at Okehampton offers spectacular views of the National Park and an insight into Meldon Quarries Workings
S&DJR Heritage Trust  
Recreating the much missed Somerset and Dorset Railway at Midsomer Norton station in the Heart of North Somerset
Wensleydale Railway  
The Wensleydale Railway runs trains between Leeming Bar (near the A1) and Redmire (on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park) via Bedale and Leyburn, what better way to see the Yorkshire countryside than by train?
