Enjoy a ride in a vintage Diesel Multiple Unit from Bishops Lydeard to the main line at Norton Fitzwarren, before travelling to Crowcombe Heathfield Station for the official re-opening of the refurbished Kitchen and waiting room by Lady Elizabeth Gass, a champagne toast and supper. Summer is coming so what better way of celebrating the longest days but with an evening on a train on the West Somerset Railway.

Enjoy the Somerset countryside, see some of the developements at the southern end of the West Somerset Railway and then enjoy the celebrations at Crowcombe Heathfield station including a champagne toast and picnic supper at this picturesque station.

There will be a bar on the train at which you will be able to purchase beer, lager wines and soft drinks throughout the evening.

The picnic is included in the price and there is a choice of either pork and Bramley Pie, Turkey and Cranberry pie or Cheese and sauteed onion Quiche (suitable for vegertarians). These will be served with salad and a dinner roll. Afterwards a selection of desserts will be available.

The cost is £12.50 each or £16.00 if using a coach link which is available calling at Bridgwater, Monkton Heathfield and Taunton and then onwards to Bishops Lydeard.
