There are a couple of special events along the route of the WSR this coming weekend. Our Bishops Lydeard neighbours Quantock Brewery are holding their Summer Beer Festival between Friday 28th and Sunday 30th and holders of WSR Travel tickets will be able to claim a free half-pint.
On Sunday 30th it is the annual Watchet Carnival which features an aerobatic display, the Carnival Parade,and plenty of family enertainment. Proceedings get underway at 1.00 p.m.. The town centre will be closed to traffic but Watchet station is right in the heart of it so why not go by train?
