Did you miss us? We are pleased to announce that we are back for our 2021 season!
During the festive period, our Santa Expresses proved vital in ensuring that our railway could survive, having not run any public services in the 2020 season. The journeys to Williton and back with Father Christmas himself proved incredibly popular with families, locals and supporters as well as receiving excellent feedback for our COVID compliance.
With vital work on our railway continuing throughout difficult circumstances, we have elected to build on the success of these services by opening gradually in 2021, beginning with journeys between Bishops Lydeard and Williton.
Travel between Bishops Lydeard and Williton and take in the breathtaking views of the Quantock Hills whilst travelling behind one of our homefleet steam locomotives. On the dates listed below we are enhancing our 15.10 service giving you the option to add a Cream Tea to your travel ticket. Tickets for travel only are still avialble on these days and can be booked via the book now options below.
Excursions for this service are as follows:
Excursion 3: Depart Bishops Lydeard at 15:10 and enjoy your journey to Williton, your cream tea will be served to you on your outward journey (Cream Tea will be served to those that have the 'including Cream Tea' on their ticket, travel only tickets are also available on this service). Upon arrival in Williton the engine will run round and then take you back to Bishops Lydeard at 16:00. In line with the restrictions it will not be possible to alight the service at Williton. You will arrive back in Bishops Lydeard at 16:35
For Travel Only tickets on other running days, please see our timetable page. Catering special tickets for Williton are only available on selected Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Please note that dogs are not permitted in these coaches.
Please note that for all our services this year, tables of 4 and tables of 2 will be in separate coaches, it is therefore only possible to travel in groups of 6 within a compartment. As catering is only provided for tables of 2 and tables of 4 please note that if purchasing one of each, a table of 4 will be in a separate carriage to those who hold a ticket for a table for two, due to social distancing.
If you do not have a printer or a mobile device, please do not purchase your ticket online - contact our main office on 01643 704996 where we will be able to help you.
If you require your tickets to be printed by us, and posted out to you or sent to a station for collection, there will be an administration fee of £2.00 for this service.
By purchasing your tickets through our website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.
