Between April 28th and April 30th , as part of the West Somerset Railway’s Spring Steam Gala, the “Quantock Belle” dining car will be offering meals throughout the day. Starting with cooked breakfasts in the morning, the programme will move on to cooked lunches and then to afternoon cream teas. These can be enjoyed as the train moves through the Quantock Hills and along the Bristol Channel Coast on the journey between Bishops Lydeard (near Taunton) and Minehead. There will also be a buffet car on other trains during the Gala which runs between April 27th and 30th and cafes at Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. Light refreshments are available at most other stations. Times when the Quantock Belle is running can be seen at www.west-somerset-railway.co.uk
On these dates there will be no advance booking for the “Quantock Belle”. However for the rest of its programme of roast Sunday lunches, Saturday evening dinners in the light days of summer and midweek luncheons and cream teas advance booking is necessary. To do this call 01643 704996
