Travel Information, Spectator & Car Parking

Car Parking and Spectator locations for the Flying Scotsman.

We have been working hard to find suitable locations to park in areas as close to the line as possible, where you can either view the Flying Scotsman or where a view of the Flying Scotsman can be safely reached within a short distance. Several of our very kind neighbours have opened up their fields to be used, and will be charging a very small fee of £5 per vehicle, with the exception of Dunster and Watchet where individual tariffs will apply due to these being public car parks.  Please note, all car parks will be cash only.

Please note when leaving your car parked in the car parks you do so at your own risk, the owners of the fields or the West Somerset Railway will not be held accountable for any loss, damage or theft of any item or vehicle. Please also be mindful to not leave pets in any vehicle.

There will also be a charge of £2 to get onto some of our stations
