Rover Tickets 2026

Our line meanders through the Quantock Hills and along the Exmoor Coast. We have 10 idyllic stations with plenty of areas to explore, details of each of our stations can be found here on our website your rover ticket allows you the opportunity to visit multiple stations providing the timetable allows. Our rover ticket is the same price as a full length of the line return.  

A Rover Tickets are available on our standard services on days highlighted red, blue, yellow, orange or brown. These tickets are not available for purple or green dates as these are our special events/Christmas and are sold separately as part of an event. 

Please be aware that the time stated on your ticket is generic - your ticket is valid for the whole day on any service that we are running on your chosen day of travel. 

As we reserve the right to amend our timetables at short notice, please ensure you check the timetable for your date of travel one week before you are due to travel and on the day so that you are aware of any changes. 

Please note that Rover Tickets can be purchased online in advance up to 10pm the night before your date of travel.

If you are wishing to purchase tickets for same day travel, your tickets can be purchased from the Booking Office when you arrive or from the Travelling Ticket Inspector on the train, we accept card or cash on board the trains. 

Please note: Registered carers can travel for free when accompanying a full paying passenger, your ticket can be booked online however we will require proof of your carer status to be presented alongside your ticket on the day of travel when your tickets are checked by our travelling ticket inspectors. If you would like a single or return journey from any of our intermediate stations, you can purchase these on the day of your journey from either the booking office or from one of the travelling ticket inspectors on the train. Please click here to view all of our fares.

*Please note: There are currently roadworks taking place on the A358 in Taunton - there is a diversion in place heading towards Bishops Lydeard. Therefore, please allow extra time for your journey. A one way single lane closure will be in operation between Silk Mills Roundabout and Manor Road junction for a scheduled 12 week programme between 20th July and October 2026. Traffic will be allowed to access Taunton via the A358 from the Minehead direction. Traffic leaving Taunton towards the west will be directed via Wellington Road (A38) and Silk Mills Road (A3065).
