Silver Stage - Steam Engineman Course

Live the childhood dream with the Silver Stage Steam Engineman Course.  This course can only be taken once the bronze stage steam engineman course has been completed. 

Your day will start at Minehead at 7.00, where you will assist with the locomotive preparation and end with the disposal of the locomotive at Minehead. 

This course will include a goods service from Minehead to Blue Anchor and will include shunting moves at MInehead and Dunster. 

Enjoy a full day with the power of steam on the West Somerset Railway. 

Your course will include lunch and refreshments. 

You must be 18 years+ to take part in the Steam Engineman Courses.

We will need to have confirmation that you have first carried out a bronze stage or an old style stage one course for you to take part in this course, therefore we may be in touch for you to provide a copy of your certificate for completing these courses which can be sent in by email.
