  • How do I book tickets through the website?

    The best place to start would be our tiemtable page which is situated under the plan your visit panel on the homepage. Once here, select your days travel, and click the date. A button which says view timetable will appear. This will show the timetable available for the day. Scroll down to see the excursions available and click the highlighted writing to link through to our ticket booking system. If you are still having issues at this point, please feel free to call us on 01643 704996 between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday where we will be able to help you, please note we are receiving a high number of calls at present for ticket sales, this may result in a member of staff taking your phone number and getting the relevant person to contact you which will be as soon as possible.  

  • I have been expecting a call but not heard anything yet, what should I do?

    We are receiving a high volume of calls and are doing our best to keep up to date we will call you back as soon as possible. If it has been over 48 hours since you called and you have not heard back from us please call us again on 01643 704996. 

  • What time should I arrive at the Station?

    On the date of travel please arrive at no earlier than 45 minutes before your train is due to leave. If you hold tickets please continue on to the platformn, if you need to buy tickets please visit the booking office. 

  • Can I buy tickets on the day in 2021?

    It is advisable to book tickets in advance of travel as we have limited capacity on the train, however, if there are any remaing tickets available these can be purchased on teh day from the booking office. For track and trace purposes we will need to take your personal details to allow you access.  

  • Can I buy individual tickets in 2021?

    This year due to the covid restrictions in place, our tickets are being sold in tables of 2, 4 or compartments of 6 only. If you are an individual that wishes to travel, then a table for 2 will need to be purchased. 

  • I have a child who is under 5 travelling with us are they included in the numbers of a table for 2, 4 and compartment of 6?

    Our tickets are being sold in tables of 2, 4 and compartments of 6. It is important that all passengers travelling in your group are able to comfortably sit in the booked area only. Therefore, if you feel that you can all sit around a table or in a compartment without using additional space, then this is acceptable. Please do call us after purchasing your tickets to make us aware of the additional child and we can add this to your booking 01643 704996.  

  • Are there additional discounts available this year?

    We have kept the price as low as possible for our services this year, and therefore there are no further discounts available. 

  • I had tickets for 2020 which I couldn't use, can I use them this year?

    We are currently in the process of contacting ticket holders from last year via email with the options available to you for travel this year. 

  • Will I be able to get on or off the train at intermediate stations?

    Unfortunately due to the restrictions in place, we are offering fixed return excursions only from either Minehead or Bishops Lydeard. Therefore, it will not be possible to get on or off at intermediate stations this year. Please take a look at our timeable page on our website to see which services are available. 

  • Is Car Parking available?

    We have limited free parking at Bishops Lydeard. There is a pay and display car park next to Minehead Station.

  • Can I make group bookings online?

    To ensure that all your group requirements are met, we require all group bookings to be made by telephone on 01643 700398. It is important to book groups in as soon as possible as we have limited capacity on our services. 

  • Do you have Toilets available?

    Toilets are available at Bishops Lydeard and Minehead Station, we also have toilets available on the train.
