Step into the magic of the festive season at the West Somerset Railway Christmas Market, taking place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November, from 10am to 4pm each day.
Browse a wonderful selection of seasonal stalls, soak up the festive atmosphere, and discover unique gifts, handcrafted treasures, and delicious treats perfect for Christmas.
Access to Minehead Station will be free!
However, if you wish to make your visit even more special we have our exclusive steam-hauled Christmas Market service, departing Bishops Lydeard at 10:30am and travelling through the stunning Somerset countryside to Minehead. This special service is available exclusively to pre-booked passengers, making it a truly memorable festive experience.
Choose from two ticket options:
- Bishops Lydeard to Minehead return
- Williton/Watchet to Minehead return
Passengers joining at Williton will depart at 11:04am, while those boarding at Watchet will depart at 11:13am.
After enjoying the Christmas Market and all that Minehead has to offer, your return journey will depart Minehead at 15:30, arriving back at:
- Watchet – 16:03
- Williton – 16:13pm
- Bishops Lydeard – 16:50
With tickets expected to be in high demand and availability limited, early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

P.A.M.S Nuttie Knitters
P.A.M.S Nuttie Knitters are 3 sisters - Pauline, Ann & Margaret. Our stall is dedicated to our mum whose name is Pam and when we were growing up, she taught us to knit. Lots of love is put into our items, plus we are all Nuttie to do what we do! We love to see the smiles on peoples faces when they see our hand-knitted items.
We will be holding a stall on Saturday 28th November only.

I’ve been doing Neal’s Yard Remedies for 5 years now, and love our organic, ethical and sustainable products. I love meeting people and spreading the joy of Neal's Yard Organic Remedies.
Our range of products includes the following: Shower/bath gels, Christmas gifts, essential oils, wild rosehip skin care, Bee Lovely range, aromatic remedies, remedies to roll, face creams and toners.
I will be attending the market on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November.
Val Marshall
I began crafting when I retired and now create many handmade items. My husband joined me with his sketches when he retired. We have made many new friends along the way and particularly love the WSR Christmas event.

We sell funky designs on cozy welly socks, bamboo socks, and cotton socks as well as scarves and gloves.
