Trustees of the West Somerset Railway Heritage Trust are very pleased to let you know that the Gauge Museum has been successful in seeking accreditation from the Arts Council. Accreditation is the benchmark for well run museums, and results from three years of work developing procedures and practice in the management and care of the Trust’s collection.
Further details are in the below Press Notice, which is being distributed widely, including the heritage railway press.
We will also be covering this in the next full newsletter, which will be issued to members towards the end of January 2026. In the meantime, the Trustees send you all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Kind regards
